NDIS Information

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government initiative that provides funding and support to people with a permanent and significant disability. At LEAFE'S, we work with NDIS participants to help them achieve their employment and independence goals.

What is the NDIS?

The NDIS provides eligible Australians under the age of 65 who have a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need to live an ordinary life. This can include support for employment, daily living, community participation, and more.

How can NDIS funding be used with LEAFE'S?

If you have an NDIS plan that includes funding for employment-related supports, you may be able to use your funding to access LEAFE'S services, including:

Employment coaching and job readiness support
Supported employment assistance
Remote employment preparation
Employment pathway planning
Digital skills and social media training

What funding categories apply?

LEAFE'S services may be funded under the following NDIS support categories:

Improved Living Arrangements
Finding and Keeping a Job
Improved Daily Living

We recommend speaking with your Support Coordinator or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) to confirm which supports are included in your plan.
