Candle Care Guide

To get the most out of your LEAFE'S candle, follow these simple care tips. Proper candle care ensures a longer burn, a cleaner flame, and a safer experience.

First Burn

The first burn is the most important. Allow your candle to burn until the entire top layer of wax has melted to the edges of the jar. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.

Trim Your Wick

Before each burn, trim your wick to approximately 5mm. A trimmed wick reduces soot, prevents mushrooming, and keeps your flame at a safe, steady height.

Burn Time

For best results, burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool and solidify completely before relighting.

Keep It Safe

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Keep away from drafts, fans, and flammable materials.
• Stop burning when approximately 10mm of wax remains.

Storage

Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance and colour.
