Peter's Story
At Leafe's, we believe in turning challenges into opportunities. Founded by Peter Leafe, a passionate advocate for people with disabilities, Leafe'swas born from Peter’s own experiences growing up with an intellectual disability. Struggling to find employment, Peter decided to create his own path by starting small—selling keyrings at market stalls—and gradually expanding into a thriving business in Dubbo, NSW.
Today, Leafe's is more than just a business; it’s a place where participants can gain real-world skills in customer service, business operations, and entrepreneurship. Peter’s story is a testament to the belief that with the right support, anyone can achieve their goals. Whether you’re helping to run one of our market stalls, learning the ins and outs of retail, or developing your own business ideas, Leafe's provides the tools, experience, and supportive environment to help you succeed.
